If you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and you would like to lower it through exercise, all that is really necessary for you to do is to get a half hour walk everyday. Of course, it would also help if you lost a little bit of weight and the exercise will assist you in doing so but even if you maintain your current weight, the exercise, more than likely would lower your blood pressure by a few points. Once you have been able to do so, make sure that you get your blood pressure checked regularly as you will be more prone to have it go up and down, depending on your activity level.
